Managed from Sophos Central
Every Sophos wireless access point is cloud-managed from Sophos Central, the same platform used for endpoint protection, firewall, and email security. You get a single dashboard for your entire security estate rather than a separate wireless management console.
What Sophos Wireless provides
Network segmentation
Corporate and guest networks are separated at the wireless layer, guests can access the internet but cannot see your internal resources. VLAN tagging ensures traffic is correctly segmented all the way to the firewall.
Sophos Firewall integration
When Sophos Wireless and Sophos Firewall operate together, wireless traffic is inspected by the firewall's web filtering, application control, and IPS engine. A device on WiFi gets the same level of protection as a wired device.
Rogue AP detection
Sophos Wireless scans for unauthorised access points broadcasting in your environment, a common attack vector known as an evil twin attack, and alerts Sentire to investigate.
Centralised management and firmware
Access point firmware is updated centrally via Sophos Central, no manual updates per device. Coverage, channel, and power settings are tuned from a single interface.
