The Migration Process

Planning: Create a detailed plan. What gets migrated first. What dependencies need to be resolved. What can be decommissioned.
Test Migration: Before moving production, we move test data. We validate. We catch issues in a sandbox.
Phased Production Migration: Move workloads in waves. First the least critical. Last the mission-critical systems. Each wave is validated before the next.
Cutover Testing: Before final cutover, we run a full rehearsal. Every step is practiced. Surprises are found in practice, not on migration day.

Types of Migrations We Handle
Server Migration: Physical or virtual servers moving to Azure VMs. File servers to Azure Storage. Database servers to Azure SQL or Cosmos DB.
Email Migration: On-premise Exchange to Exchange Online. Mailboxes, calendars, contacts all moved. No email lost. No downtime.
File Share Migration: Network file shares on-premise to SharePoint Online and OneDrive. Permissions preserved. Users do not notice a difference.
